Process

How a project works, step by step

Hiring a developer shouldn't feel like a leap of faith. This is exactly what happens between "I have an idea" and "it's live" — including what I need from you at each step.

1

Intake — free, no strings

We talk for 30 minutes (call or coffee). You describe the problem you're trying to solve; I ask questions and tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit — and if not, who might be. If you'd like to arrive prepared, the spec builder on this site is free and needs no account — but turning up with nothing written down is completely fine too.

Jij levert: the problem, any examples you like, a rough budget range.

Jij krijgt: a clear idea of what's possible and what it roughly costs.

2

Proposal — fixed scope, fixed price

Within [X days] you receive a written proposal: what I'll build, what it costs, how long it takes, and what's explicitly not included. No hourly-rate surprises — you approve a number before anything starts.

Jij levert: feedback and a signature.

Jij krijgt: a plan you can hold me to.

3

Design & build — in the loop, not in the dark

I work in short cycles and show you real progress every [week / two weeks] on a private preview link — not a big reveal at the end. Small course corrections along the way are part of the deal.

Jij levert: content (text, images) and timely feedback.

Jij krijgt: a preview link that's always up to date.

4

Launch — tested, then live

Before going live: testing on real devices, speed and security checks, backups, and analytics. Then we launch — usually at a quiet moment for your business, with me on standby.

Jij levert: the green light.

Jij krijgt: a live product, and a walkthrough of how to use and update it.

5

After launch — I don't disappear

You get [X weeks] of free aftercare for bugs and small tweaks. After that, you choose: a support plan (updates, monitoring, small changes) or full handover with documentation. Either way, the code and all accounts are yours.

Jij levert: nothing.

Jij krijgt: a product that keeps working — and someone who answers the phone.

The short version

Clear price before we start. Progress you can see every week. Everything handed over at the end. That's it.
